My job has allowed me to meet so many incredible owners and animals, and I feel blessed that many of them I would now think of as friends

“Ollie my guide dog was diagnosed with degenerative polyneuropathy in Dec 2018 by a neurologist. For this there’s no cure. It was advised he had ACPAT-led physiotherapy and this is how we met Karris is. She has been seeing him since Feb 2019 to help maintain his muscle mass and activity.
She is very professional in her approach and also a very kind person. Couldn’t have asked for anyone better to help me support Ollie”.

“Karris has been nothing but helpful with my event horse. She explains exactly what she’s doing and the problems your horse has. All exercises given are really easy to follow and are demonstrated so there’s no guessing what you need to do! She’s delightful and I wholeheartedly recommend her.”

  • “My vet recommended Ark Physiotherapy to me after one of our ponies was very tight in his shoulder. Karris came out and within two sessions he was so much better and back to his winning ways. He is now on a maintenance programme and Karris comes approximately every 6 weeks to make sure he is in good health. Karris is very personable and professional and I can highly recommend Ark Physiotherapy”.

  • “We have a rescue dog, Marley, who has a dodgey knee as a result of an old injury. It had never caused any problems but one day he started hopping and stopped weight bearing completely. After the go-ahead from the vet, we contacted Karris for some physiotherapy. Marley is not very trusting and has been known to be snappy with strangers if they are too hands on, especially if he is in pain, so we were a tad apprehensive (for Karris’ sake!). However, thanks to Karris’ patience and incredible way with animals, Marley responded so well and actually gets excited when Karris comes for follow up sessions! Every exercise was creatively made into a game which Marley absolutely loved and he is now completely back to normal. Worth every penny and more, we cannot thank or recommend Karris enough!”

  • “Can’t thank Karris enough for treating Flicker and relieving some of her tension when she was having problems in her ridden work. Flicker can be extremely nervous around new people but she settled straight away with Karris and really enjoyed her treatment!”

  • “Karris has been an enormous help to us as well as a valuable source of information after Lunar, our Hungarian Vizsla, had ACL operation. Lunar is continuing to improve with physio which is helping her gain stability and strength where it’s needed for her to make a full recovery. Karris has been fantastic with Lunar – would definitely recommend her!”.

  • “We contacted Karris when Freddo, our Border Collie puppy, developed a limp. She was extremely prompt and efficient in replying to emails. She was also very professional, and explained that that it a legal requirement for a dog physiotherapist to speak to the vet.
It was great that she visited Freddo at our house- this meant that he was in a comfortable environment, and it was really convenient for me and husband as the appointment was in the evening.
The first appointment was great- Karris took a really detailed history about the problem, and spent a long time assessing and examining him. She has a fabulous way with dogs, and he was really relaxed throughout.
Karris clearly explained everything to me and my husband, and showed us some exercises to work on. She even brought some dog treats and let us borrow her pet hurdles for him to jump over!!
Freddo’s limp has now gone!! 🙂
This is the first time we’ve contacted a pet physiotherapist, and I will definitely call Karris if we have any problems in the future.
    5 star service!! Thank you!!”.

  • “I contacted Karris in 2018 following my horse’s rare cardiac surgery. I needed to find someone who was an expert in physiotherapy as I was nervous about rehabbing my horse and wanted to take things steady. Karris is an absolute gem and her way around the horses is brilliant. Not only is Karris knowledgeable but she is also incredibly approachable and is always there to offer support in order to better your horse’s wellbeing. Thanks to regular treatment from Karris, we have managed to get back on track after facing multiple set backs. My horse always feels more relaxed following treatment and especially loves his carrot stretches! Thank you Karris, I wouldn’t have anyone else to treat Luigi”.

  • “Karris has been treating my older mare for some time now. Tia is quite nervous of strangers but Karris has such a lovely way with her, approaching her in a professional yet sympathetic manner, that Tia has overcome her wariness and thoroughly enjoys her sessions. Tia appreciates the benefits of the regular physiotherapy treatments which are central to keeping her sound and in work. Karris is always supportive and ready to advise – a lovely person and accomplished professional – I can’t recommend her highly enough!”.
